Denmark registered approximately 87.0 MW of new PV systems in the period from Jan. 1 to Oct. 26, 2015, according to the latest statistics from Danish energy operator Energinet.dk. The country’s cumulative registered PV capacity has now reached 685.2 MW. In the period from Oct. 5 to Oct. 24 around 3.5 MW of new PV systems were registered in the country. Approximately 475.2 MW of the country's installed PV capacity is represented by rooftop PV systems up to 6 kW installed under the country's net-metering scheme. The remaining capacity is represented by rooftop PV systems up to 6 kW and PV systems up to 400 kW registered after December 2012, when the country’s latest net-metering scheme was closed. These PV systems will probably have access to the country's future FIT scheme, according to a »transitional model« proposed by the government in March 2013. The current statistics still does not include a 61 MW PV plant that was connected to the grid in late December.. © PHOTON
